What happened in Hunan in May 2026?

Generation C debuted in Hunan with Rivaldo and Javier Saviola — the first time those legends played matches in mainland China. Over six days across Xiangtan and Yongzhou, there were youth training sessions with local coaches, matches against Xiangtan FC and Yongzhou FC, fan signings and visits to local welfare houses. The next stop was Jiangmen and Taishan from 29 October to 2 November 2026.

How does a youth academy tournament work?

Up to 24 teams, U10 to U14, across two days of competition, with categories for boys, girls or mixed play. Four to six matches are guaranteed per team, with referees, first aid and medical support on site, a welcome pack, tournament shirt, accreditation, trophies and medals, and activities for players, siblings and families. Venues and dates for the next editions are announced ahead of each season.

Can legends be booked for our city?

Yes, and participation is confirmed event by event under individual agreements. No legend is under a standing representation agreement with Generation C, and image rights are cleared per activation. A legends programme can include a youth training charity event, an exhibition match against the host city team, a welcome reception and press conference, business dinners and city promotion.

What does a Generation C programme include?

Every programme starts with a curriculum built for the academy, school, club or institution that commissions it, and combines Generation C delivery with partner methodology. Depending on the programme, that includes accommodation and ground transport, lecture sessions with partner coaches, stadium and training ground tours, age-banded training load, insurance and a certificate of attendance. Coaching Education Programme

Coach education designed by our partnership with the RFFM and their UEFA PRO coaches. From short webinars to full courses, delivered in your city, online, or as a study visit to Madrid. 30 training actions in five formats, from a 90-minute webinar to a 20-hour course, in person, online or blended, plus Madrid study visits exploring the foundations of elite football development, from academy structure and style of play to physical preparation and talent selection.

Youth Team Training Programme

A full team experience at top training facilities, at home or abroad, with training load matched to age.
